Engaged? Yes!

And a month and a half later finally blogging about it!  But yes, it's true, on Nov. 16th, I got engaged to an incredible man named Ben.  You've seen a little bit of how he's spoiled me since we started dating, and the engagement was no exception!

It started out with a drive up to Logan, "to go to lunch with Grandpa" and a stop at the Ellen Eccles Theatre (a gorgeous old theatre with beautiful architecture) to "see what shows they've got coming up."  And it turned into this:

We walked into the theater, the curtain went up, and I saw this:

 

My first thought on seeing this was, "I wonder what show they are doing?"

 But I quickly caught on....

   

 We tried to eat, but we ended up taking home a lot of left overs.  Who can eat at a time like that?

And to top it all off, my fortune cookie (NOT organized by Ben, it was just a regular fortune cookie from a restaurant):

Is that meant to be or what?!

What an amazing and special way to spend a day I'll never forget!  It was perfect! 

 *Pictures were taken afterward.  The proposal was private, personal and perfect (although the theatre employees later confessed to watching us on the camera from the box office. Ha!)!
